Hip Hop Dance Intensive with Miss Adelka, April 18-21, 2016 from 10am-noon Mon-Thurs.

Spring Break-dance! Come with the whole family to learn cool new moves and get in top shape. The class is conditioning the first 50 minutes for us to stay strong, warm up and stretch. Then we will get to learn some great moves with fun routines that are easy enough to follow along. Practice some one new challenge per day and then we can breakdance and freestyle at the end with everything we learned.

Internationally-renowned performance troupe MASQUE THEATRE of Bethlehem, CT performs “This World, the Next, and Then the Peach Orchard” featuring “Blues, Blues” on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sept 9-11 at 7:30pm.

MASQUE THEATRE performers, Larry Hunt and Adelka Polak, have been awarded a performance grant by the US Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria to present this show at the Golden Dolphin International Puppet Festival in October 2011. You can get a sneak peek of the show before the performance troupe heads overseas to present to international audiences.


Sept. 17 at 4pm Adelka Polak will be performing “Environmental Entanglement: Nature at Rest and Unrest” outdoors at the White Silo Winery and Farm in Sherman during the Raspberry Festival. This environmental performance is made possible by the Puffin Foundation along with the participating artists and farmers of our community. Matt Jackson, Justin Perlman, Fumio Taniguchi, and Leesa Sklover will add their artistic and rhythmic signatures to the performance through masks, live drawings, drumming, and vocalizations. Wine and food are available for purchase and tasting before the show. Please bring a blanket or chair for the outdoor event. Check back for up-to-date details.
